Be healthy and welcoming!
- Stay hydrated! On hot days we have water bottles available.
- Stretch! A quick stretch before you start is good for your joints.
- Welcome newcomers and introduce yourself!
- Take an extra glove in case yours wears out or gets sweaty.
- If you feel unsafe or uncomfortable for any reason, stop!
- We’ll take care of all gathered bags and sharps containers at 3:00 PM.
Dealing with unsafe objects
You can do any of these things:
- Use gloves or a grabber to put it in one of our disposable sharps containers
- Ask another litter crew member for help
- Call it in to 311
- Report it on the city 311 app
Don’t do anything that makes you feel unsafe or uncomfortable!
